As each Panchakarma journey is uniquely tailored to your individual needs, the daily schedules will vary. But to give you an idea of what your day could look like during your Panchakarma, here’s a rough outline:
Wake up early to the sound of a gong.
Begin your day with gentle yoga and meditation practices that support your Panchakarma by balancing your body and mind.
Savor a nourishing breakfast prepared according to Ayurvedic principles, personalized to both your body constitution and dietary requirements.
Meet with your Ayurvedic physician every day to review your condition and progress, with program adjustments as needed.
Experience authentic Ayurvedic therapies tailored to restore your dosha balance and address specific health concerns.
Delight in a freshly prepared vegetarian meal featuring local ingredients and Ayurvedic cooking principles.
The duration and number of the daily treatments will vary, depending on the stage you are at.
Expand your Ayurvedic knowledge through lectures, cooking demonstrations, nature walks, or herb garden tours.
Unwind with gentle evening asanas designed to promote deep relaxation and prepare for rest.
Complete your day with a light, digestible evening meal aligned with Ayurvedic dietary guidelines.
For Panchakarma to be most effective, guests must rest and avoid swimming, excursions, excessive sun/wind exposure, sexual activity, and other stimulating activities. For this reason, leaving the center for excursions or full-day trips is not permitted during the program. These guidelines are essential for your healing and to reduce the risk of unwanted side effects.
I have never felt so cared for and taken care of. I felt quite hopeless regarding my health before arriving and I am leaving with tears of joy.
The staff made the retreat very personal. They took care of everything even the small details were made personal. Nothing was too much and everything was with a smile.
My profound thanks to Dr. Rigin for his knowledge, presence, and warmth. I had total confidence and respect for him.
Curated by our founder, the Oneworld Journey is immersive, fun, enjoyable, and educational.

Indigenous to India, where it is widely practiced, Ayurveda is a natural, time-tested health system that is focused on disease prevention by balancing the body, mind, and spirit.
Every person has a distinct balance of Vata (space and air), Pitta (fire and water), and Kapha (earth and water), otherwise known as the Doshas. When a person’s Doshas are out of balance they are more susceptible to disease and distress.
Ancient Ayurvedic wisdom provides guidance on how to live according to your Dosha, and treat imbalances, through diet, exercise, daily rituals, social interaction, and other lifestyle factors. Ayurveda’s healing modalities include detox (Panchakarma), massages and treatments, and herbal medicine.
The ancient wisdom of Ayurveda is based on time-tested theories that have been proven through observation, trial and error, and experimentation.
Ayurveda is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the world’s oldest comprehensive healthcare system.
Research conducted at reputable Ayurvedic institutes is registered in the clinical trial registry, which is a single platform for all fields of medicine. Clinical research is being published in recognized medical journals worldwide. Ayurveda has also employed modern research methodology to prove its effectiveness. Pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical, and pharmacological studies are being conducted alongside clinical trials.
Ayurvedic pharmacological companies in India are closely scrutinized to maintain the standards of their medicines and are awarded ‘good manufacturing practices’ certificates. They are also encouraged to conduct and register clinical trials.
Food is an important part of Panchakarma and your meals will be well-balanced according to the guidelines of Ayurveda. In general, you will enjoy three delicious meals daily, healthy and balanced for you. On the detox day(s), you will have a special diet with little food to make sure you get the maximum benefits from the detox.
During pregnancy, Ayurvedic treatments can be beneficial in alleviating stiffness, aches, and pains, improving sleep quality, and reducing cramps. Additionally, proper nutritional support and pregnancy-specific guidelines can be provided.
However, detoxification or Panchakarma therapies, such as emetics, purgatives, nasal medications, and enemas, are not recommended during pregnancy. Treatments that raise body temperature or induce perspiration, such as poultices, are also discouraged. This applies to all trimesters, except near the due date.
Guests are advised to bring all necessary medical documents and supplements to ensure continuity of care during their stay.
Long flights are generally not recommended during pregnancy, particularly in the first and last trimesters. A pre-consultation with one of the doctors will be conducted before confirming participation in the program.
As each person’s experience will be different, the daily schedules will vary. But to give you an idea of what your day could look like during your Panchakarma, here is a short outline:
Wake up early to the sounds of a gong before receiving your medicines. Do yoga and meditation in the beautiful yoga hall overlooking the rice fields or just relax on your terrace or in the gardens, taking a morning walk.
After that, it is time for breakfast before you meet with our physician and starts your daily treatments in the Panchakarma treatment center. The duration and number of the daily treatments will vary, depending on the stage you are at.
You may join the cooking demonstration and get some tips and tricks to take home with you. After lunch, you will have free time to yourself in which to relax before your scheduled treatments. Early evening, there will be a meditation class and then it is time to enjoy dinner. Some days, there will be talks on interesting topics or guided rice field walks.
