Taman Ayun Temple, Mengwi

Taman Ayun is a graceful royal temple surrounded by a wide lotus-filled moat, once serving as the spiritual heart of the Mengwi Kingdom. Its elegant multi-tiered shrines rise harmoniously against manicured gardens and mountain skies. Built in the 17th century, the temple embodies Balinese cosmology and balance, offering visitors a serene introduction to the island’s spiritual heritage and refined architectural traditions.

Jatiluwih Rice Terraces

The Jatiluwih rice terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage site, unfold across rolling hills in vibrant shades of green. Fed by the ancient subak irrigation system, these terraces reflect centuries of harmony between nature, community, and spirituality. Walking through Jatiluwih is a meditative experience, where open landscapes, mountain air, and gentle paths invite presence, reflection, and a deep appreciation of Bali’s agrarian soul. Vegetarian lunch overlooking the rice terraces.
Kebun Raya Bedugul

Bedugul Botanical Gardens

Nestled in the cool highlands, the Bedugul Botanical Gardens offer a refreshing contrast to coastal Bali. Spanning vast landscaped grounds, the gardens showcase orchids, towering trees, medicinal plants, and tropical flowers. Misty air and forested paths create a tranquil atmosphere, ideal for gentle walking and reconnection with nature, while highlighting Bali’s rich biodiversity and ecological heritage.

Bedugul Local Market

A short stop at the Bedugul fruit, vegetable, and flower market offers a glimpse into daily mountain life. Thanks to its high altitude and fertile soil, Bedugul supplies much of Bali with fresh produce. Colorful stalls overflow with strawberries, leafy greens, spices, and blossoms, reflecting the abundance that sustains the island’s cuisine and traditional offerings.

Ulun Danu Beratan Lake

Set on the serene waters of Lake Bratan, Ulun Danu Beratan is one of Bali’s most iconic temples. Dedicated to the goddess of water, it appears to float when lake levels rise, creating a dreamlike scene. Surrounded by mountains and mist, the temple symbolizes harmony between water, land, and spirit—an unforgettable expression of Bali’s sacred relationship with nature.

Day 3

Mount Batur, Kintamani

Mount Batur is one of Bali’s most sacred and active volcanoes, rising majestically above Lake Batur in the highlands of Kintamani. Its dramatic caldera, shaped by ancient eruptions, creates a powerful landscape of lava fields, fertile soil, and expansive views. Revered by locals as a life-giving force, Batur symbolizes both destruction and renewal, offering visitors a profound sense of nature’s raw beauty and spiritual presence. Continue your journey after breakfast…

Besakih – The Mother Temple of Bali

Perched on the slopes of Mount Agung, Besakih is Bali’s largest and most important temple complex. Often called the “Mother Temple,” it consists of more than 80 temples arranged across terraced hillsides. As the spiritual center of the island, Besakih represents the unity of all Balinese Hindu traditions, offering sweeping views, sacred rituals, and a powerful atmosphere of devotion and timeless reverence. Ayurvedic picnic lunch, enjoyed in nature

Penglipuran Village & Bamboo Forest

Penglipuran is one of Bali’s most beautifully preserved traditional villages, renowned for its harmony, cleanliness, and strict adherence to ancestral customs. Stone pathways, uniform family compounds, and daily rituals reflect a way of life rooted in balance and respect. The visit includes a peaceful walk through the nearby bamboo forest, where towering bamboo groves create a cool, meditative space that enhances the village’s serene and timeless atmosphere.
