Success Story: Relief from Rheumatoid Arthritis through Panchakarma

When N. arrived at our Ayurvedic center in January 2018, she was carrying more than just her luggage. Years of rheumatoid arthritis had left their mark – her hands told a story of constant pain, with swollen joints and a permanently crooked little finger on her right hand. Her thumb had become immobile in recent months, and the pain had become her constant companion.

Life’s challenges had taken their toll beyond the physical symptoms, leading to depression for which she was under medication. Like many dealing with chronic pain, she had found temporary solace in coffee, cigarettes, and wine, while depending heavily on painkillers to get through each day.

By the end of her 23-day stay, the changes were remarkable. The morning stiffness that had once ruled her days had vanished. Her crooked little finger, which hadn’t straightened for years, returned to normal position, and her thumb regained its mobility. 

Not only had she freed herself from painkillers, but she had also successfully quit smoking. The physical transformation was matched by a newfound mental clarity and emotional well-being.
